Wow guys…..seemed like you REALLY want some Pure Bars!!!!!!!!! I honestly think 1,055 comments (and still going!) might be a new record. Good job. Keep it going—the winners will be chosen at random tonight!!

This morning before I left Healdsburg I had the return of the Green Monster!

  • 1 scoop chocolate Amazing Meal
  • 1 huge bunch spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup 1% milk
  • 1 scoop almond butter

My first Green Monster in California…it was good.

So yeah, I LOVE San Francisco!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though it’s cold, windy and rainy I still love this city like woahhhh.

This morning I met up with my new Amazing Grass family and got some busy-ness straightened out. Brandon (the president of the company and my new…boss) and I went to coffee at this cute little French bakery and I got a nonfat chai tea.

And then, I met up with Annie for pho!!! Annie was one of the Murphy-Goode Top 10 with me back in July and she lives in Seattle but is here for the weekend. She rocks and I was so excited to hang out!

(a BIG thank you to Adam who let me borrow the super cool fancy lens for the weekend so my food pictures will rock)

After lunch, there might have been Nordstrom’s half yearly sale involved………

All my shopping has been suppressed since I moved from a city that had everything to a city that just has…..a grocery store. This is actually a very good thing because I don’t have the opportunity to leisurely walk into Anthro daily, but still…a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. And this girl needed boots and a winter coat. πŸ˜‰

I just ate an apple (I have a bag of apples in my purse for emergencies..normal), walked into Hotel Vitale (loove this place) and checked into my room with Kath! We had another chair brought up so we could blog side by side at the desk in the room since we are that cool. I’m actually about to go work out right now and then shower and get pretty for the cocktail party and dinner tonight.

More to follow + Pure Bar winners!

I’m so so happy that you love my old city. It’s the best, even in the crappy weather. Except yeah, you’ve got to expect parking tickets. That’s why I NEVER owned a car while living there. Good call on the hole in the wall place. As much as I love the “big name” restaurants that SF offers, some of my favorites are total hole in the walls. I don’t know what you’re doing tomorrow morning, but if you have any free time between 8am and 1pm I cannot urge you strongly enough that you MUST go to the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building (at the end of Market and the Embarcadero). It’s hands down the best farmer’s market I’ve ever been to before. I used to go every week when I lived there and boy do I miss it. Seriously it’s awesome and you MUST go (unless you don’t have time- but make time!)!!!

Hotel Vitale is my all-time favorite in SF. Enjoy – I am jealous! (very, VERY jealous)

Also, if you can squeeze in for dinner at The Slanted Door at the Ferry Building it is VERY worth it. Delicious Vietnamese food. (Or you could always brave the lines at Taylor’s….yum, Ahi Burger.)
