Behind The Butter

beer in heaven, part II

I thought I found Heaven…but it was just lagunitas brewing company.

And let me tell you, Heaven tasted especially delicious after hiking six miles through Point Reyes on Saturday!

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments (and emails!) yesterday—they really meant a lot. Adam and I celebrated my brother’s 21st in style by going wine tasting followed by stuffing ourselves with barbecue that was so good I cried.

We also finished Season 5 of Grey’s and last night I had a dream that the Chief was replacing Bailey with me.

I.just.can’t.stop.

Stuffed after the BBQ – it’s not a proper one if it doesn’t end that way πŸ˜‰ I hope Adam did the standard un-buckling of the belt πŸ™‚

Oh, I want to be near nature to hike! A simple(r) life.

What made you start watching Grey’s now all of a sudden anyways? I always wonder what gets someone started on a series…especially since it’s been on for a while. What shows do you usually watch?

Nice photos! Looks so fresh & clean. Love Point Reyes & Tomales Bay.

Have only had two dreams remember in entire life. One was in a Montecito market in the pasta aisle trying to decide bet angel hair and linguini when Jesus appeared with a beatific kind smile and face–and long super clean hair. He was wearing a flowing Mediterranean-blue robe tied at the waist over-draped with saffron-yellow satin that flowed from over his shoulder. He gave me the namaste sign and left.

The view of the coast looks absolutely spectacular and beautiful. I wish I was there right now instead of the long streak of rain and gloom that Portland is having right now. Can’t wait for summer! And Grey’s can be quite addicting! I know it was and is for me!

So glad you managed to enjoy yourself on an otherwise difficult day, Jenna.

FYI, your site seems to be updating normally for me…hooray! (I use Google Chrome.)

I loved Grey’s for the longest time, but it started getting goofy (in a bad way) a couple of seasons ago. I checked in again recently and was glad to see that the writing returned to its original form. And, I’ve become re-addicted.

In other news, did you know that Mad Men(season four/last season) just came out in DVD? After a few marathon sessions this past weekend, I’m almost finished. I believe the new season starts on AMC this summer. Such a brilliant series! (I’d be happy to send it to you if you haven’t seen it…just holler!)

Thanks for your response Jenna!! Maybe I should get on the yoga bandwagon??!! I run and take spin classes and I’m so ravenous all day so maybe I’m eating more than I need to…..sounds like yoga really helps make you pay attention to your hunger cues and I’ve heard a lot people lose weight this way.
