Canned Soup?!

Hey guys!

I enjoyed reading about your funny party hosting experiences all day! Seriously…y’all had me laughing my pants off at points. Thanks for that! πŸ˜‰

However, the random winner of the $100 grocery store gift certificate is………………..shutupandrun!!!!! She wrote: “I had a nice get together with mom’s from my daughter’s preschool (who I had just met). Much to my dismay I looked in the living room and saw my dog humping one of the mom’s one year old. I mean my dog was ON TOP OF HER. I felt awful but thankfully this mom found some some humor in it.” Hahahaha hysterical. Please send me your information and I’ll get your prize to you asap! πŸ™‚

As for my day….I snacked on this interesting little treat sent to me from one of my favorite UK readers while I wrote my latest True/Slant article on recovering from an indulgent evening πŸ˜‰

This was good…very interesting! It definitely was filling and fueled me through an intense 90 minute power yoga class. On Wednesdays I need a substantial mid-morning snack because lunch isn’t until 2:00! I think the motto for today’s class was sun salutation. We must have done about 100 of them. As Polly would say, I had noodle legs by the end.

I was STARVING when I got home (obviously). I made the quickest thing I could—a chicken, hummus and laughing cow sandwich on whole wheat with a plum and many a dig into the soy crispie bag

Needless to say, I went from feeling totally depleted and famished to incredibly stuffed in about four minutes flat.

No snack today because I ate such a late lunch but look what I found in the paper!

How cool is that?! As you probably know, I’m a HUGE Rachel Alexandra fan and the fact that I actually got to sit and have coffee with Jess Jackson totally sealed the deal. I hope I’m one of the lucky few that get some special Rachel wine this holiday season!

Sorry y’all—I’m still sort of in a funk over here. No cooking tonight. Just canned soup (gasp!)

My appetite is so weird…I’m stuffed again..no dessert! Sorry guys, hopefully I’ll be back to my old self soon. I did drink a little crack (blue gatorade) though to prepare myself for a run tomorrow morning.

    Same here, I haven’t been able to each much lately without getting so uncomfortably full. I think it has to do with the heat. Hope things get better for you! Nothing wrong with a can of soup sometimes πŸ™‚

    Whenever I am stressed or anxious, my appetite goes right out the window so I commend you on your ability to still eat!! Everything has a way of working itself out, just don’t stare too long at the closed door. πŸ™‚

    Nothing wrong with canned soup now and then! I luuuurv Amy’s Organic chunky tomato soup. Soooo good with a crusty bread & sharp cheddar grilled cheese. The new V8 boxed soups are quite tasty too; especially the corn chowder (YUM).

    Yo dude. I don’t know what’s going on, but I think you are really starting to worry people. To be honest, I think you owe it to your blogging community to come out and say what is happening. If you want to keep your privacy (and I really understand, I do) you might want to do yourself a favor from a bunch of nosy-poseys and bite the bullet and move on. And if you find this hard to do, you might have to come to terms with the fact…that perhaps the “right” decision you made wasn’t the “right” one for you. But again, I don’t know what is happening. This is sort of just what I’m gathering based on your comments and hints.

    Whitney- Jenna “owes” the blog community NOTHING. This is her journal, essentially, and she can say or not say whatever she wants. I think you are entirely out of line, judgmental, and sound slightly threatening (re: *If* you want to keep your privacy, you may want to bite the bullet…..”).
