This is super timely because I think my husband need to be reminded why he does love me. Assuming, of course, that he still does…

That’s SUPPOSED to be what I bought at the store last night, but instead I got “Sweet Heat BBQ” instead of Buffalo flavor. You would think the world was coming to an end!

Is it bad that I sometimes cook something that’s compatible with hot sauce just so I can smother it in Frank’s?

…or Tapatio, or Tabasco, or Sriracha, or Crystal…(all of which are in my cupboard/fridge on any given day)

I’ve definitely heard my share of proposals over a taste of good food! Including directed toward myself! 😉 I served my then-boyfriend (now husband!) a bowl of leftover pot roast over rice and he immediately shouted urgently, “MARRY ME!” Then he proceded to moan awkwardly over his dinner in the presence of his roommates.

I am so excited. Any food related item that I can smother with hot sauce (any of the 8 different kinds in my kitchen) is already a favourite in my books!

Also, if having 8 kinds of hot sauce is wrong, I don’t ever want to be right. My world would end.

Yikes. If that’s true then send 10 cartons – stat! I know you had your blog-“birthday” a few days ago – but it just occurred to me (yes, I’m slow) that it’s ONLY 3 years old. Seriously!? Feels like you’ve been around for a while (even though I haven’t been here all this time) 🙂

Franks is definitely my all time favorite hot sauce. It’s such a let down when I’m dining out somewhere and they bring me some rip off hot sauce. But I suppose that’s the Buffalo gal in me. 😉 Can’t wait to see what you reveal!

Not true – my spicy tacos today were deemed “too hot”. I’m sorry, but is there even such a thing!??!?!

      January 10, 2011 at 9:28 pm

My boyfriend thinks a lot of foods are spicy when I don’t, and I don’t get it. He’ll put spicy condiments on otherwise bland foods, but foods that are already (tastefully) spicy will be too hot. Can’t win. haha.

I always said that instead of flowers and frou-frou scents, someone should make a women’s perfume that smells like hot sauce, bacon or beer. You would be beating them off with a stick (along with wild dogs, most likely, but it’s a risk you take.)

My boyfriend is happy if I agree to go to Buffalo Wild Wings with him…I wonder how he’d react if I made the wings myself? I prefer baking to cooking, so he’s gotta be tired of plastic bags filled with dough balls and containers of fudge that I send home with him on a pretty regular basis…then again…it sounds like he’s already got a pretty good deal 🙂
