Cross Country Cat

Gooooood morning!!!

He made it!! Dexter made his first (and hopefully ONLY) cross country flight yesterday. Tampa to Denver to San Francisco and, finally, to Healdsburg. So far, he has been making himself right at home and slept nestled close to me all night. What a trooper!

My mom and I didn’t get home last night until around 11:30! We toasted with some Cab Franc when we got in and then promptly passed out. This morning, I woke up and she was already cleaning and fixing up everything….I don’t know how she has so much energy when jetlagged and exhausted but, hey, I’m not complaining. I just feel like a bum laying around the floor in my pajamas while she fusses over me. Actually, I’m not gonna lie; it’s sort of nice!

Amazing Meal shake for breakfast!

• 1 scoop chocolate amazing meal
• 1 bunch fresh spinach
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 cup 1% milk
• 1 spoonful almond butter
• ice

My mom had the same thing She loves her grass, too! We also had really strong french press + jasmine green tea:

I’m about to hop in the shower and then we are just walking around all day as I give my mom the grand tour of Healdsburg!! Of course, stopping for mandatory wine tastings and eats along the way. I’m thinking we will do a La Crema tasting and maybe drive around Dry Creek Valley as well.  Wheewwwww!
