Behind The Butter

still cookin’

Sadly I did not make it to the next round of Project Food Blog.

I’m really not that bummed at all though because I had so much fun over the past few months with it, which was the whole reason I entered anyway: to cook and have fun!

I love being challenged in the kitchen and I can say, without a doubt, every Project Food Blog post that I did challenged me in the best way possible.

I love you guys and your support means the world to me. You’re the reason why I blog, and your comments bring smiles to my face each and every day. Thank you for believing in me and I look forward to hopefully continuing to inspire you in the kitchen for a long time to come.

Pshhhhhhhh You can’t get rid of me that easy.

In case you happen to be bored this Friday (or just want to watch me dance like a weirdo and use a fake French accent), here are my past Project Food Blog posts.

1. The Next Food Blog Star

2. The Classics

3. Luxury Dinner Party (this one was my favorite!)

4. Picture Perfect

5. Recipe Remix

6. Road Trip

7. Video 411 (and reeeemix!)

8. Piece of Cake

I have cookies in the oven, chocolate underneath my fingernails and a sink full of dirty dishes.

Life is good.

    BOOOOOOOO!!!
I was totally voting for you.
Plus, I have tried a couple of your dishes at home, and you have never pointed me in the wrong direction. My husband who is an amazing cook requests the white chicken chilli at least once a week, if not more. I think an I.V. in his arm might to do trick.
So keep posting. And I will def. be buying your book when it comes out.

I was totally rooting for you from the beginning. You have a spectacular blog “voice” and I am bummed you didn’t make it that far.

I feel the last challenge was a little tough … using pumpkin after what was the big “pumpkin blogging” season was winding down. That said, your whoopie pies were the most intriguing out of all the whoopie pie posts I’ve seen all season! Keep up the great job you are doing because you were def. born to write about food.

Had to share something from some years ago.

Was in a small architectural design challenge of about 63 of us at UC Berkeley–I was chosen in the top 3. I still feel proud of how hard I worked & that I was among the top in an exciting field. Won’t try to do the math but I guess somewhat akin %s as here.

So thanks for that rekindled memory–still a little thrill to recall years later that advance in book of experience. You have all of our hearts 🙂
