Behind The Butter

what i’m loving now

I realize I haven’t done a “what I’m loving now” post in a good while! I’ve been busy pulling my injured boyfriend’s socks on and off, moving to a new house and baking chocolate cake after chocolate cake.

Someone help me.

Regardless, here’s what I’m loving now!

1.

Okay, I admit I’m only fifty pages in, but already I’m loving this sweet epistolary-style novel! I can’t wait to snuggle in my bed tonight and really sink my teeth into it!

2.

I’ve been wearing these aviators from Anthropologie everywhere lately! This is a new pair and hopefully I won’t sit on them this time.

3.

Another fun Anthro find. I’m in love with all the bright colors that are popping out this Spring. This top is super soft, bright and fun!

4.

Hammocks. Because they’re always a good idea.

5.

The Black Keys is Adam’s favorite band and I bought him the deluxe album with book for Valentine’s Day (after downloading the entire album on my laptop…obviously). The whole thing is great, but I can’t stop listening to Everlasting Light and Unknown Brother!

6.

I don’t know why…but lately I’ve just totally rekindled my passion for cream cheese frosting. It’s all I want. Anyone care to join me on a cream cheese frosting diet?!

7.

Yikes! I’ll just admit it—I have 100% full fledged puppy fever! I know the exact kind I want and even the name.  What can I say? Dexter just really wants a big brother or sister. heh heh heh

8.

I took this aerial shot of San Francisco last week when I headed down to LA for the food photography workshop. I LOVE how the Golden Gate Bridge looks from the air, don’t you?!

9.

I read this in the hospital waiting room the other day…such a sweet story–I couldn’t put it down!!

10.

Comfort food. Whether that be perfect buttermilk fried chicken, beef stroganoff, chicken pot pie or turkey meatloaf….I can’t get enough!

(note to self: buy new stretchy pants)

    Hey Jenna,

Sorry to bother you but could you ask your man to suggest a dessert place in Austin. I’m running the half this weekend and I’ve been to Hey Cupcake. I was wondering if he knew of another place.

Looooooove epistolary novels! My mom just mailed me a copy of the Potato Peel Society – can’t wait to read it, especially now that I’ve heard one more good thing about it 🙂 Thanks!

    I *love* your list!

Love Anthropologie, love puppies, and DOUBLE love The Black Keys! My hubby and I have been a fan for a few years now- you and Adam should check out their best album (imo), Rubber Factory. It’s sexy, sweaty and bluesy- you’ll never believe all that sound comes from two guys 🙂

I loved Guernsey! It’s one of those books you will pick up again and again for years to come. I can’t wait to get my hands on PW’s book. I read the entire saga on her blog in one day!
